Even though our ball is ovular in shape, it still makes sense to begin with something a tad more manageable something like, you guessed it! a circle. With a circle sketched out first, developing the ovular symmetry on either side, will be all the more easy to do.
My framework
A simple cross, extended beyond either left and right side of the circle help to mark off the end points of the curved lines. The green mark positions the grips just remember to keep your lines nice and light when youre planning everything out like this.
Pretty straight forward so far. On to the drawing

To develop an effective running game, communication and coordination are essential. Your primary goal is to put the running back at the point of attack just as the hole is opening, using the right combination of timing and blocking.
The simplest way to communicate running plays is to assign a number to each potential ball-carrier, and a number to the point of attack.
If a players number is called, they are carrying the ball on that particular play. Typically, the quarterback is assigned the number 1, the tailback is number 2, and the fullback is number 3 .The point of attack is used to indicate which hole the ball carrier should be running through.
These holes are numbered odd on the left and even on the right, with ;0 being directly behind the center.
So, for example, the number 32 means that ball carrier 3 will run through the number 2 hole .
Now that we know where the ball is going and whos carrying it, we need to tell the offensive line what kind of blocking scheme to use. Each of the plays below describes the objective of a particular play and how the offensive line needs to block.

Circle, oval, etc? Actually no just circles and ovals!
Of course, there are lots of other things that come to mind when we combine sports with drawing.
People, places, etc. theres plenty to draw indeed.

Soccer, also called football in many countries, is a game in which two teams of 11 players, using any part of their bodies except their hands and arms, try to get the ball into the opposing teams goal. Only the goalkeeper is permitted to use theirs and hands and may do so only within a specific area near the goal. The team that scores more goals wins. With about 4 billion followers, soccer is by far the most watched sport on the entire planet!
Soccer balls are a little more complex to draw than a basketball or football, thanks to all their hexagon shapes. Some more thought is involved, but thats not to say it cant be done with a little help. This tutorial directs students in how to start their pattern with a center hexagon, and then gradually work out until their entire ball is filled with a pattern.;
Bonus Tip: Color the black hexagon shapes first with a black crayon, and then trace the other seam lines with a light gray crayon. The result is a nice subtle shadow that gives the ball slightly padded look.

Most students are familiar with the basic shape of a football, but they might get stumped when getting ready to add the finishing details. The white stripes on the ends and the stitch lines in the middle are important and will go a long way in making a much more realistic looking football. This tutorial shows exactly how and where to add those important details.
Drawing things like a football, basketball or baseball is a great idea for students elementary school. Most are already familiar with what they look like, they just need help in learning how to turn a flat shape into something more dimensional. Well-placed seam lines, stitch lines and color lines can make all the difference in the world.
Its time to chiaroscuro! Draw a soccer ball with light and shade. As before drawing a circle. At the second stage, we draw a polygon which is already familiar to us.We draw three more polygons.Starting from the polygons that we already have we are sketching the entire ball with polygons. The fifth is the most exciting stage for us. Here we have chiaroscuro.Shade polygons that should be black. At the top of the polygon, the strokes should be darker than at the bottom; this will create an imitation of glare and give our football a three-dimensional look. White polygons do not touch, and they will remain white. After hatching black squares, we draw our own shadow on the ball in the lower left. In our example, the light falls on the ball from the top right side. That is why the shadow is in the bottom left of the ball. Own shadow is drawn as a month, which smoothly flows from dark to light. But the last step is to draw the shadow of the ball on the ground. Such a shadow is drawn much more comfortable than the balls own shadow. Just draw a narrow oval under the ball, and thats it.
If you have difficulty with the shadow, then be sure to read our article on chiaroscuro and try to take the ball with a flashlight. Having twisted a flashlight around the ball, directing the light from different angles, you will understand the whole point of view and shade and how to draw it in the case of the ball.
