The National Association of Young People Who Stutter / FRIENDS is a national organization that supports and empowers people who stutter and their families. For example, Ed Strugalla, Director of Clinical Services and a speech-language pathologist, has done research on stuttering and co-wrote chapter 10 in the book: Stuttering meets stereotype, stigma, and discrimination: An overview of attitude research.
